Museum Outward Bound Virtual Tour Series
"Top 3 Mysterious Places on the Fireboat" Online Guided Tour

As the largest museum artefact in Hong Kong, how was the Alexander Grantham transformed from a retired fireboat into an exhibition gallery? And how was the 500-tonne fireboat transferred from sea to the current position on land? Two curators will take you through a virtual tour to have a look into the legendary Alexander Grantham from history, science and conservation perspectives, and unfold the untold stories. Participants can also learn about the equipment, structure and operation of the Alexander Grantham through the interactive games and find out some interesting facts about the fireboat!

This live streaming guided tour will be available on the "Visit HK Museums" Facebook, where registration is not required.

There will also be an Alexander Grantham Virtual Tour Interactive Game Session allowing only 250 participants to take part on a first come, first served basis. Interested parties are advised to enter the Zoom video conference 15 minutes before the programme begins. Those in the interactive game session will have a chance to win a souvenir.
