To meet the pursuit of book lovers, we organise the acclaimed book talks again this year. Curators from different museums and guest speakers will be invited to share their special recommendations of enlightening exhibition catalogues and research study reports produced by various museums.

The talk series will start with "Treasure Troves for Historians: the Historical Archive of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and Historical Inscriptions of Hong Kong". Founded in 1870, the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals has witnessed the development of the Chinese society in Hong Kong and built a comprehensive archive for historical research and study, including historical documents related to medical and health, education, charity and social services. The records produced from the repatriation of remains service for overseas Chinese in their holding provide valuable original materials for reference.
