Museum Outward Bound Virtual Tour Series
"Becoming an Astronomer in 10 Minutes" Online Guided Tour

Do you want to tour around Astropark and stargaze with the curators of the Hong Kong Space Museum? Since this year is the Year of the Ox in the Chinese calendar, let's begin with it!

When it comes to ox-related Western constellations, you may think of Taurus straight away - the disguise that Zeus adopted in the astrological myth. How about it in Chinese astronomy? The Cowherd and Weaver Girl is a well-known Chinese folktale, and Altair represents the cowherd. What are the allusions behind them? Join the curators to discover interesting stories about ancient Chinese astronomy in the "Becoming an Astronomer in 10 Minutes" virtual tour!

This live streaming guided tour will be available on the "Visit HK Museums" Facebook, where registration is not required.

There will also be an Astropark Virtual Tour Interactive Game Session which will only allow 250 participants to take part on a first come, first served basis. Interested parties are advised to enter the Zoom video conference 15 minutes before the programme begins.
