The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) presents again the large-scale outdoor art event “Art@Harbour” and joins hands with various entities, namely K11 Group, Sino Group and First Initiative Foundation (FIF) to organise independently different art projects on the both sides of Victoria Harbour.  Created by international and local art groups/artists, the art installations and digital projections integrating art, science and technology transform the waterfront promenade into a grand stage for cultural and art display.

The enchanting art projects include an array of interactive installations, the “teamLab: Continuous” by international art collective teamLab and the “Science in Art” by local art team LAAB Architects and artist Dylan Kwok, presented by LCSD at Tamar Park in Admiralty and the Central and Western District Promenade (Central Section).  K11 Group presents Alicja Kwade’s sculpture “I’ordre des mondes (Totem)” in collaboration with Pace Gallery at the K11 MUSEA promenade.  Sino Group collaborates with local art organisation HKWALLS to present “Chromaflux”, a large-scale digital art installation created by five groups of artists selected from Germany, France, the Czech Republic and Hong Kong, at the Sino LuminArt Façade of Tsim Sha Tsui Centre and Empire Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui.  FIF, in collaboration with the Van Gogh Heritage Foundation, presents “Voyage with Van Gogh” – a public art initiative featuring an outdoor multi-sensory LED art installation at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza. The FIF project is also supported by the Mega Arts and Cultural Events Fund of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau.
