Hong Kong Museum of History x Chinesology
The Hong Kong Museum of History and Chinese restaurant Chinesology have joined forces in a cross-sector collaboration, drawing inspiration from the traditional menu exhibit in the permanent exhibition "Hong Kong Story" to reinterpret and launch a new menu.
The "Hong Kong Story" permanent exhibition at the Hong Kong Museum of History features a menu from the 1960s for the Manchu-Han Imperial Feast held at the Golden Dragon Restaurant in Hong Kong. Drawing inspiration from this exhibit and its historical setting, Chinesology has launched the "Tales of History" tasting menu using contemporary Cantonese culinary techniques, bringing historical flavors back to the table and extending the essence of the exhibition into a dining experience.
