Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum
Dedicated to honour the world-renowned revolutionary, Dr Sun Yat-sen, the Museum gives an overview of his life and career, especially his intimate connections with Hong Kong. The Museum is housed in the beautifully preserved monument building 'Kom Tong Hall'. (Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum was temporarily closed from May 1, 2024 for upgrading the permanent exhibition galleries to enhance the design and presentation, as well as for maintenance and renovation works. It is expected to re-open in the second half of 2025.)
Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre (vA!)
The Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, originally the Cassels Block of the Victoria Barracks, has been transformed into an art learning centre. Fitted with specialist equipment and spaces, the Centre is dedicated to promoting and facilitating artistic creation and exchange, showcasing a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity.

The Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens
Opening to public in 1871, the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens is the oldest park in the territory. It covers an area of 5.6 hectares including children's playground, aviaries, a greenhouse and the fountain terrace garden. The Gardens is also nicknamed by locals as "Bing Tau Fa Yuen" (literally the Head of Soldiers' Gardens) because it was the former site of the Government House for the Governor who served as the Commander-in-chief of Hong Kong and was thus referred to as "Bing Tau" (the head of soldiers).
Hong Kong Park
The Hong Kong Park officially opened in 1991, covers an area of 8.16 hectares. It was originally a garrison named Victoria Barracks. At the centre of the park, there are an artificial lake and a waterfall which were built on the site of a tennis court of the former garrison. There are also two modernised major facilities, namely the Conservatory and the Aviary, both were built on the hillside adjacent to the Tai Chi Garden and the Vantage Point, forming a distinctive architectural complex in the park.
City Hall Public Library
The City Hall Public Library is the first public library in Hong Kong, officially opened in March 1962. The library has rich collections and is well equipped with special reference libraries and thematic collections.
Central Harbourfront Event Space
With an amazing 360-degree view of the iconic Hong Kong skyline, Central Harbourfront Event Space offers 36 hectares of outdoor, open-air space with easy accessibility to public transportation. It is one of the largest and flexible event spaces in Hong Kong.
Tamar Park
The Tamar Park covers an area of around 1.76 hectares. Designed with elegant simplicity, the park offers broad views of the picturesque Victoria Harbour. There are spacious green lawns and leisure facilities, such as a landscaped garden, a floating platform, an amphitheatre and Tamar Cafe.
