Who was the first Hong Kong pop star? How did Hong Kong pop music bloom with the growing popularity of radio broadcasting? Let the little museum KOLs tell you the stories behind! Through a series of activities and trainings, the ”Little Museum KOL” Program graduates became one-day docents to introduce Hong Kong pop culture in the past at the “Hong Kong Pop 60+” exhibition in Hong Kong Heritage Museum.

The renowned presenter of kids programs, “Harry Gor Gor” was invited to lead the “Little Museum KOLs” training at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum. With his humorous presentation, the KOLs were fully engaged in the training and learnt how to introduce museum exhibits in a lively and interesting way!

Cartoon is popular among kids, but do they know how animation is being produced? The Little Museum KOLs were invited to an exclusive tour of the “Science Behind Pixar” exhibition at the Hong Kong Science Museum to discover the fun and engaging interactive exhibits, to explore the STEAM concepts behind the animated films and to take pictures with their favourite Pixar film characters!

From a small and remote village to a cosmopolitan metropolis, Hong Kong has been facing tremendous changes over years. By participating in the activity, “After Sunset......A Big Project of the Hong Kong Story” at the Hong Kong Museum of History, the little museum KOLs travelled through time to explore the stories of Hong Kong.

Do kids enjoy shopping with their mothers? This is not an easy question to answer. In the “NOT a fashion store!” Flash tour at the Hong Kong Museum of Art, the Little Museum KOLs showed great enthusiasm and appreciation about the fashion-related exhibits. Many questions about the history and culture of the exhibits were asked during curator-led guided tour.

Little Museum KOLs program brought together a group of astronomy lovers to join the “Highlight Tour of the Space Theatre” at the Hong Kong Space Museum. The KOLs enjoyed watching the brand-new full dome show and visiting backstage of the theatre and other production facilities!
